You may have heard the whispers around the Southbay, or the shop for that matter, over the last few months.  After much thought, research, and patience, GROW is indeed growing.

Our second store will open this Fall in the Arts District of downtown LA, and we couldn’t be more excited.
On the surface, the Southbay and the Arts District seem very different.
Beach and city.  Sand and concrete.  West side and East.
But after countless post-work trips, weekends walking the dog through the neighborhood, and honest, real conversations with our new neighbors we found the two locales have more in common than any map or Google image search would suggest.

Both places have a strong sense of neighborhood, residents committed to making those neighborhoods great, and a passion for great food.

Long way to go!  Opening Fall 2014

To all of you who have supported GROW in the almost 8 years since we opened- Thank You.  Your loyalty, suggestions, patience and encouragement have made this next step possible.  We have come a long way in 8 years, and we love that you all have made the journey with us from a humble produce shop to a full neighborhood market.  Strangers became customers, customers became friends, and friends became people we couldn’t do without.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.

To all of our new neighbors, GROW is your store.  In time we will be calling on you to help us stock the shop with what you want.  While we have already planned much of what we’re going to offer, we have left a lot of shelf space empty with the idea that you will help us.
Not in a roll-up-your-sleeves-and-do-work way.  Suggestions will suffice;) It’s your neighborhood and we want to do everything we can to open this Fall and be your neighborhood grocer of choice.

From now until we open our doors downtown we will chronicle our progress on Facebook, Instagram & Twitter.
We’d love for you to connect with us there, and join us in our new journey.
It’ll be a fun ride, and the beginning of a beautiful food friendship!
